The Alumni Association fosters meaningful, lifelong relationships between alumni and the university, and builds alumni support to enhance the university’s standing as a premier institution of higher education.”

The UO Alumni Association was founded in 1879 and originally served five alumni. Today we serve 150,000 alumni and friends, including 16,000 members, by helping them stay connected to the University of Oregon through events, like Homecoming and class reunions, communications, like the Alumni Insider and Oregon Quarterly, and alumni services, like career services, alumni mentoring, and travel.

The Alumni Association plays an integral role in the success and viability of the University of Oregon. We fund scholarships for incoming students and sponsor one of the largest endowed Presidential Scholarships on campus. We also assist the University’s legislative advocacy efforts through the Alumni Advocates, a group of alumni and friends committed to lobbying state legislators on behalf of higher education and the University of Oregon.
